We’ll leave the security gate open so you can get in Do you have a security gate on your front door?
By the time you arrive we’re sitting in traffic How long do you spend in traffic? Does it depend on the taxi driver?
We’ll leave your wage on the dining room table Do you have a dining room table? Do you have a dining room?
We get irritated when you unplug our heaters Do you have a heater?
You’ll fold the extra blanket at the foot of my bed Do you have enough blankets on your bed?
You’ll move books and unfold the dog-eared place keepers Do you dog ear books? Can you even read?
We return to find piles of dirty dishes replaced by piles of well ironed laundry You leave an empty house filled with luxuries and subtle reminders

Domestic Reminder
August 20, 2007We’ll leave the security gate open so you can get in
Do you have a security gate on your front door?
By the time you arrive we’re sitting in traffic
How long do you spend in traffic? Does it depend on the taxi driver?
We’ll leave your wage on the dining room table
Do you have a dining room table? Do you have a dining room?
We get irritated when you unplug our heaters
Do you have a heater?
You’ll fold the extra blanket at the foot of my bed
Do you have enough blankets on your bed?
You’ll move books and unfold the dog-eared place keepers
Do you dog ear books? Can you even read?
We return to find piles of dirty dishes replaced by piles of well ironed laundry
You leave an empty house filled with luxuries and subtle reminders
