Say you’re going through a tough time
Say you haven’t been yourself
Explain your perspective

Let me blame the circumstances
I’ll make excuses for you
I need to justify your behaviour
I must find a silver lining

I refuse to accept
That behind that cloud
You’re just a fucking arsehole
