Lonely Sand Dune
November 20, 2007
Take a walk along the beach
Follow the line where dry meets wet
There never is a clear path
Reach a point beyond the view of civilization
Climb a sand dune and look out over the world
The horizon encircles you from such a distance
But it’s comforting to have an end in sight
With raindrops threatening to bring a storm
You’ll solve all the problems of the world
And as each crashing wave brings darkness closer
You can only hope that somewhere,
Someone has climbed a molehill
And found solutions to the problems that you carried up your mountain
