Abe recently posted his first piece of writing and it reminded me of the first poem I remember writing. We were forced to write occassionally at school but I kinda lost touch with that until recently.
Here it is the groundbreaking work of Paul Harold Seele aged 10 (I think).
I may have left out a few lines, this is all I can remember.
My Pet Pete
I have a very unusual pet
It was love at first sight when we first met
He dines on chunks of juicy meat
So to make things rhyme I named him Pete
If you don’t know what Pete is you’re a banana
For my pet Pete is a piranha
