After the initial launch of The Wombatizer it was clear that fans were struggling to think of good sites to wombatize. The Twitter and Facebook home pages can be wombatized, but those pages don’t have a lot of images on them so they won’t reveal all the exciting content and prizes that The Wombatizer has to offer.

I created a Facebook app to sit as a tab on The Wombats’ fan page. The tab features a long list of thumbnails linking to the wombatized version of that site. It also includes sharing buttons to post the glitched website on Facebook and Twitter.

You can also use the Wombatizer directly from the Wombats facebook page. The tab includes an url input box that will launch The Wombatizer.

I took the thumbnail gallery further by updating the landing page of wombatizer.com to use the same design and structure as the Facebook tab. I also added the thumbnails as a news item to the members’ area of thewombats.co.uk.
