The Damaraland region of Namibia was one of our favourite stops during our honeymoon roadtrip. The landscape is beautifully stark and it is truly remote.

We stayed in Mowemi Mountain Camp which was exactly the kind of camping we had in mind. Sites that were isolated and private but with the luxuries of a private toilet and shower. Hot water came from lighting a fire under a boiler.

We spent the evening sitting around the campfire sheltered by two gigantic boulders and a canopy of stars above us. It was a magical place.
