I joined Musketeer Records as a sales representative in October 2005. It wasn’t long before I was promoted to a label management position and eventually given the task of managing the head office in Johannesburg as Head of Marketing. My work at Musketeer was varied and covered every part of the record business including A&R, sales, production, international label management, bookings, digital, publicity and marketing.

I had the pleasure of working with South Africa’s most successful rock band, Seether, and managed to create a focused strategy that delivered the group’s first gold record in their home territory. Other artists I worked with included: 12th Avenue, The Dan Wilson Mark Huggett Project, Fevertree, Grounded, Heroes Wear Red, Ian Henderson, Jessika, Juliette & the Licks, Kevin Martin & the HiWatts, Scarlet Box, Soul Proxy, State Far Better, Sugardrive, The Belles, Venessa Nolan, Verity and Vertical Horizon.
