All my freelance work and personal projects are done under the Native Noise banner. The brand was started during my student years at the University of Cape Town. I spent three and a half years working at the campus radio station, UCT Radio. In 2003 I launched Native Noise, a radio show focussing on the live South African music scene. The show became UCT Radio’s most popular and successful show, featuring rare acoustic performances by the top acts in the country.
In 2004 I launched NativeNoise.co.za as an extension of the radio show. The Native Noise radio show ended on a high note with the release of The Native Noise Acoustic Collection, a free MP3 album featuring some of the best songs performed live on the show.
