We flew back to South Africa for my best friend’s wedding in July/August 2011. Catching up with family and friends was great and a wonderful reminder of how amazing the country is. I took a disappointingly low number of photographs during out two week holiday but managed to capture a few brilliant moments.

We squeezed in a touristy trip to the Joburg Lion Park (a place I never visited during my four years living in the city). We also spent 3 days at my family’s beach cottage in Soutbroom. Waking up for sunrise the one morning was absolutely worth it.

I hope you enjoy the photos.
