On a trip back to South Africa last year I spent some time visiting my sister in Johannesburg. On one Saturday morning we took her dogs for a walk in the local park and her two crazy Golden Retrievers were loving the pond.
My Canon 5D Mark III was relatively new at the time and I found it a perfect opportunity to test the autofocus speeds. I took a series of pictures as the dogs climbed out of the water and shook themselves dry. The camera performed brilliantly and I’m really happy with the shots I got. The most challenging part was getting close enough to capture the moment without getting drenched in the spray.
