Hot Natured Single Page Website
With the release of Hot Natured’s debut album, we needed to update the official website. The band still wanted a very basic site so I stuck with a single page layout.
A lot more video content was now available so I built a video gallery that automatically pulls in a playlist from YouTube.
Gigatools is the preferred tour dates tool for the group’s management, so I wrote a custom function to fetch a json feed and display tour dates with ticket links.
To keep the single page layout interesting I used two incredible images that Neil Krug created for the album artwork. Using a cookie system, the site alternates between the two images every time you visit or reload the page.
The site also includes a sign-up module to deliver a free download.
As with all sites I build these days, the page uses responsive design to make it device agnostic.
